G’day! I'm Jay, a software developer based in Melbourne, Australia. I've dabbled in programming since high school, where I started designing Flash games with ActionScript. Over the years, I've explored programming as a hobby, creating chatbots and browser-based games.
In a recent IT role, I began writing scripts to automate system administration tasks. This project evolved into a full-stack application - I found a sense of pride in developing my own tools to automate boring or error-prone tasks. I decided I want to make this my career, and went on to complete a post-graduate degree in Development and Programming at Swinburne University.
Now, I'm seeking an entry-level or junior role in backend development to continue growing my skills and make more things I'm proud of.
